FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT - THE SHAH FAMILY

Wow, what a gorgeous family! Many of you will know that I don't work Sundays as it is my family day. But these lovely people had some pretty exceptional circumstances that I just couldn't pass by. You see Apeksha and Rakesh have just welcomed the most divine little girl into their family and Apeksha's sister and her hubby flew all the way from the UK for a few days to come and meet their beautiful new niece. (I remember doing that when my first niece and nephew were born in New Zealand!) So time was of the essence as they flew back the afternoon of the photoshoot!

So why were these guys so special? They were all just so ridiculously full of love! The proudest Grandma I think I have ever seen, she clearly adores her tribe and takes pride in them (she even untucked my puckered top - only a Mum would do that!), a quiet but ever so proud Grandpa who just loved watching his three daughters giggling and laughing together and very reluctantly gave baby Kiana back so they could all be photographed with her! Their two son in laws who were clearly welcomed wholeheartedly into the family. Wow, what an inspiration these guys are!

I learned a thing or two about Indian culture whilst there also, precious Kiana was wearing her protective beads around her wrist, to keep the evil spirits away and some of the ways that Indian families support women and young parents during this incredible precious time. If only more new mother's could feel that incredible support!

So to the Shah family, thank you for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family, I thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with you all, you reminded me of how wonderful my own family is!
